Jake Paul court date announced prior to Mike Tyson bout

Jake Paul has been given a court date for Eddie Hearn’s $100million defamation lawsuit as his bout with Mike Tyson rapidly approaches.

The 27-year-old is currently hard at work in the gym as he looks to win the fight, which is set to take place in Texas on November 15.

Paul could be distracted in the build-up to the showdown, however.

The former YouTuber has been given an October 16 court date for Hearn’s $100m defamation lawsuit, having seen his motion to have the case thrown out rejected by a New York judge.

Hearn and Matchroom Boxing launched a lawsuit against Paul all the way back in September 2022.

Paul had angered them by accusing Hearn and MB of paying boxing judge Glen Feldman to score fights in favour of Katie Taylor and Anthony Joshua.

Taylor beat Amanda Serrano, who was in the Most Valuable Promotions team co-founded by Paul three years ago.

According to The Sun, Hearn is suing for damages of more than £75m.

Do you think this will effect his fight with Mike Tyson?
